What format are the templates in?
Every document is a fully editable Canva template plus a print-ready PDF. Each PDF carries a template link on its last page — click it and Canva saves an editable copy into your own account. Both US Letter and A4 sizes are included for all 8 sets.
Do I need any special software to use these?
No. A free Canva account is enough — the Start-Here Setup Guide shows you how to swap any Pro element for a free one. You can also simply print the PDFs and fill them in by hand. No Illustrator, no InDesign, no designer.
How quickly will I receive access?
Instantly. Your download link appears on the confirmation page as soon as your payment goes through, and lands in your inbox at the same time. Nothing is shipped — this is a digital product.
Are these contracts legally sound?
The contract uses the clause structure doulas commonly rely on — scope of services, fees and payment schedule, cancellation and refunds, backup-doula cover, labour-length switch-out, and separate cesarean and induction terms. But contract law is local and we are not your lawyer. Treat this as a strong, professionally structured starting point and have a local attorney review your final version before signing clients to it.
What if I'm just starting out as a doula?
This kit is built for brand new. Work through it in this order: the Consultation Package first, so you can book a discovery call; then the Contract; then the Welcome Package for after they say yes. The rest you'll grow into. Nothing here assumes you already know the business side.
Can I customise the templates with my branding?
Yes — that's the whole point. Logo, colours, fonts, your photo, your prices, your service names, your city, your Instagram handle. When you're done it should look like you made it, because you did.
US Letter or A4 — which do I need?
Both are in the download, so you never have to choose. Letter is standard in the US and Canada; A4 is standard in the UK, Europe, Australia and most of the rest of the world. Print whichever your paper tray takes.
Can I resell these or share them with other doulas?
No. Your licence covers unlimited use inside your own practice — edit them, print them, give them to your clients, include them in your paid packages and online courses, and use them as free lead magnets in your marketing. It does not cover reselling, sharing the template links, or listing derivative versions on Etsy or any other platform.
